We had a fun day at our 7th Regional Specialty, held Saturday, June 3, 2023 in conjunction with Erie Shores Kennel Club all-breed shows. Great friends, many laughs and many successes in the show ring. As a final wrap up to the Specialty, there are several to thank in connection with the event.
The setup crew of Jenny & Jim Forte, June Ward, and Jenn Stooke. These members were so efficient that our site was show ready in no time flat.
At the top of my list also is Iivi Sillaste who was in charge of prizes for the winners and judges, for organizing the snacks after the judging was complete. Huge thanks Iivi and to all who assisted in this regard. To Colleen Stamp for her amazing baking skills and all the goodies she provided, which everyone enjoyed. Wonderful to see Colleen and Garry at the show after so many years.
Thank you to Lori Dzingala and Anna-Marie Kristensen for the fantastic photos both in and outside of the ring. You get to see some of the many pics following our Specialty Results section of this newsletter.
To our members and friends, both near and far, who supported the show by sponsoring an award, and to our Corporate sponsors, OMEGA ALPHA, GLOBAL PET FOODS & HERONVIEW RAW & NATURAL who helped fill our Welcome Bags, we thank each and every one.
Lastly, to our exhibitors, it was wonderful to see and visit with all of you. We hope you had a wonderful time and we will see you again next year. Save the dates June 7 - 10, 2024. Also, to Anne Smith and her show committee at Erie Shore Kennel Club, thank you for providing a great venue as well as a fun and well organized show.
